“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”— Norman MacEwen

Environmental issues impact our daily lives. Climate change, pollution, ecological degradation—they all threaten our well-being and that of other species with whom we share this planet.
When you become a member of the SES, you join a reputable, action-based organization. SES works towards environmental sustainability through public education and demonstration projects (please see issues for the topics SES is currently working on). We will keep you updated on these issues through our SES newsletter and website. Join others who have taken the challenge to make a difference!
To join the SES, please click here for a membership form. Yearly memberships are $20. The Saskatchewan Environmental Society is a federally registered charity. We provide tax-deductible receipts for all memberships and donations.

If you enjoy organizing and/or being part of a team, the SES has a number of areas that support our mission towards sustainable living. Our volunteers are involved in:
  • Education—Talk to the public and provide information.
  • Fundraising—Raise money through growing our membership.
  • Coalition Building—SES has volunteer representatives that sit on a variety of advisory committees from government, industry, and other non-profits (for example, Climate Action Network Canada).
  • Advocacy—SES has a number of working committees on specific issues such as water and pesticide reduction. These committees advocate sustainable solutions and carry our projects to promote them. If you wish to participate in the Pesticide Reduction committee or Water Issues Committee, please contact our office.
  • Administration—work in our library, send out educational materials, etc.
